How admission works

The BridgePrep application page takes applications online for all of the network’s schools; families who want to enroll right away are asked to call 786-290-8908. From the network’s enrollment and lottery policy (PDF):

  • Applications are taken during an open enrollment period each year and continuously to keep each grade full.
  • If applications exceed the seats in a program, class or grade, a public, system-generated lottery is held, and it continues until every name is drawn and either scheduled for enrollment or placed on a numbered waiting list.
  • Applications that arrive after open enrollment go to the bottom of the waiting list in the order received.
  • Families are notified in writing and given a deadline to accept.

Each school also posts a controlled open enrollment policy.

Programs

The middle-high school’s website lists an AP Capstone program and a dual enrollment opportunities page, and its academics page describes the reading and math programs used from kindergarten through 12th grade.
